Dr. Zuhair Fayez
Chairman
Dr. Zuhair Fayez, a prominent Saudi engineer and businessman, chairs Koushan Real Estate Development and Zuhair Fayez Partnership (ZFP), a top architectural and engineering firm in the Middle East. Holding degrees from the University of Colorado and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Dr. Fayez has significantly impacted engineering, community service, and nonprofits. He co-founded several companies, held influential government and board roles, and plays an active role in Saudi Arabia’s economic, educational, and developmental sectors.
Marwan Alqaydy
Chief Executive Officer
CEO of Koushan and board member, brings over 20 years of expertise in strategic planning, digital transformation, project management, and investments. Since 2011, he has led key government programs in Saudi Arabia, advising the ministry of human resources and social development and overseeing significant Saudi Vision initiatives. In the private sector, he co-founded multiple startups, including Aramis Consulting and Heud for Innovations. Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in MIS, complemented by certifications in management and leadership.
Trad Esmat Nazer
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Trad has over 30 years of experience in financial management, planning, analysis, and auditing. He currently serves as CFO at Koushan Real Estate Development and CEO of Finance at Khair Mithaq Holding (Zuhair Fayez Group), overseeing finance strategies and risk management. He began his career at National Commercial Bank, where he spent over 16 years in leadership roles, including VP of Budgeting and Financial Forecasting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University, earned in 1997.
Ebaa Taibah
Chief Strategy Officer
With over a decade of experience in strategy, HR, and shared services, she drives transformation across the group. At Koushan, Ebaa leads corporate planning, brand positioning, and organizational structuring efforts. Her focus is on building scalable systems that support growth, operational efficiency, and business readiness. She brings a multidisciplinary approach that connects operations with market opportunities and sustainability.
Yasser Alshahrani
VP of Investment
Mr. Yasser Al-Shahrani has over 13 years of experience in management and financial planning. He holds a Master’s degree in General Administration from the University of Texas and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting from Temple University. Currently, he is the Vice President of Finance and Investment at Koushan Real Estate Development and Chairman of Awraq Al-Alam Holding Company. He has also consulted on government projects and served as Senior Vice President at the Public Investment Fund.
Abdullah Fayez
Vice President of Innovation and Design
Engineer Abdullah serves as the Vice President of Innovation and Design at Koushan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and has over 18 years of experience in the field. His diverse background includes work in architectural and engineering consulting, facilities management, production, fashion, retail, and the automotive sector. Abdullah has distinguished himself by providing unique solutions for various projects, successfully applying concepts in practical sets. His goal is to leverage his expertise and achievements at Koushan.
Dr. Moataz Bakheet
Project Management Director – Western Region
Dr. Moataz is an architect and senior consultant in real estate management, with a Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology (1995). He has over 35 years of experience in project management and development. He is currently the General Manager of the Medina Office at Zuhair Fayez Partnership and holds various board memberships, including former Vice Chairman of Bakheet Investment Group. Additionally, he served as General Director for the Medina Development Project and as Director General of Engineering Programs at the Institute of General Administration in Riyadh.
Dr. Mohammed Al Afranji
PMO Director
Dr. Mohammed Al-Afranji, Project Management Office Director at Koushan Real Estate Development since 2023, with a Ph.D. in project management from Cairo University (2025), he has over 14 years of experience in managing major construction and architectural projects, Known for his expertise in project planning, he ensures quality results and client satisfaction. He has a master’s degree from the University of Perth (2014) and a bachelor’s in architecture from Limkokwing University (2010).
Yamen Tehfe
Director of Hotel and Resort Management
Mr. Yamen Tehfe, Director of Hotel and Resort Management, is a hospitality expert with over 24 years of experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Empire State College, and has worked with global hotel brands such as Le Meridien, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Mövenpick, and Radisson Collection across the GCC and Arab countries. Skilled in feasibility studies, brand management, and hotel operations, he focuses on performance enhancement and innovation to meet market demands.

Engineer Mazen Al-Ahmadi is a Project Manager with a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning Engineering and over five years of project management experience. He holds advanced professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Risk Manager (PRM).

Engineer Anas Bassad holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Mugla University in Turkey and is currently a Project Coordinator at Koushan Real Estate Development. He has also earned the European Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) certification and internship experience from Zuhair Fayez Partnership.

Mr. Sayed Haroon has been with Koushan Real Estate Development since its establishment. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Electronics from Bangalore University, India, obtained in 1992, and has over 30 years of experience in administrative and financial fields. He oversees all operational processes at Koushan, manages internal support for departments, organizes meetings, prepares minutes, and collaborates with executive management on financial and operational reports while liaising with external stakeholders.
